although this book is a stand-alone(which does not really require you reading the first one). But still, I want to complete the series, I'm so into this.
I found this story really good, the events are overflowing and the characters would really leave impressions in the reader's mind.This book is full of actions , suspense and magic all around.The story itself was simply amazing, and engaging. A page-turner book, indeed!
It was supposed to be a simple mission. When an assassination attempt goes awry, Jeshu is forced into the service of the empire he was sworn to destroy.
